I play hockey..Welcome to the toughest sport!!

SQUAT!!! thats really important cause its the flagship for all lower body excercises it will get you some nice mass too. If you have to all of a sudden chase a player or a puck its pretty rough on your knees so make sure to pay attention to that. As far as upper body, Do some rotator cuff excercises cause 1 hard slap shot could knock it out of whack (trust me) Do some shoulder and chest routines too, Bench press, military press..Excercises that focus on the overall part of the muscle are the way to go. So all in all you want to get some over all mass. Squats, deadlifts, benches, military presses should keep you in good shape..Good luck and lemme know how your makin out.

well ive been doing a hockey camp all week. (Rick Heinz, maybe youve heard of it). Its going really well and ive improved quite a bit. I'm thinking that in addition to the major lifts and a couple of olympic lifts i might want to concentrate on my forarms a good deal in order to help my shooting. do you think that would be beneficial?

That would be a good idea. Even though your forearms get a good workout when your doin curls, you should still do some excercises that target just the forearm. good luck
