Question

interesting article about training for combat sports

http://www.straightblastgym.com/endu...html#endurance

this article talks about cardio conditioning for combat sports. It basically says since combat sports are burst movements that its best to train HIIT to improve your cardio cuz those are the kinds of movements ur going to be doing in training/fighting.

I like this idea, i mean you train in the same fashion your going to compete so that your body can adapt to it. but on this board i thought the general idea was that HIIT doesnt really improve cardio?

what do u guys think of this idea?
