jumping ability

i will soon start doing aerobic now in the summer so i can get in shape and have more muscle endurance. i was wondering if endurance running will alter my jumping and sprinting ability. football testing is in about a month and i dont want to do anything that lowers my vertical and slows me down in the 40 yard dash. should i still do aerobic running or should i stick to sprint work-outs and plyometrics?

do both...you'll need the "aerobic" running to last you for hell week....and the plyometrics will DEFINITELY help you w/ your 40 time.
