MCL tear

I'm 23 years old....I tore my MCL last september......I did some physio...and started playing soccer again about 2 months later....I've been playing indoor about 2 times a week...and after games my knee is realy stiff and sore for a couple of days....anyways, to make a long story short....I was wondering if anyone has had surgery on their MCL...what the recovery times are and wether after surgery the knee was almost back to normal... should I get surgery or just learn to live with it
