Technique is upwards of 90% of both, but if I had to pick one, I'd say raw strength would give you a slight edge in wrestling.

I don't know much about either sport, but I'm inclined to agree with mav.

along the lines with what maverick said, neither one proves strength. a guy with little muscle mass can easily beat a guy much stronger than him if he knows what hes doing. but i would say, of the two sports, lifting strength will transfer over better to wrestling (once you have decent technique) than boxing.

Depends on what u consider "strength". I know some guy's who can hit hard because of their weight, but are horrible at wrestling.

What would show more strength. Hitting someone or grappling someone to the ground..

A duel? Forget the boxing or wrestling and go straight for pistols. Make sure you slap him in the face with a glove first.

lol, now that's a duel. You can even do it outside of your school by the oak tree with all your friends and classmates watching.

let me start off by saying this is one of the most queer things i have ever heard of. second of all, why not make it mma? that way whoever loses can't be like oh well i would have won if we had done wrestling/boxing instead... if you do mma its like listen you could do whatever you want but i beat you. either way, its not going to prove strength as much as skill. if you want to prove strength go to the weight room. but my advice would be, don't be a loser and just forget about it.

...a duel?
lmao. Grow up bro. I spar friends still...but a duel?
---
As for your question...Maverick hit it right.
I did jujitsu for 4 years...its all technique. Little skinny guys messed me up, as did fatter seemingly out of shape people.
You can overpower someone, but they'll use it against you.
Fighting is something you learn to do.
It's hard to learn, and it hurts...but you always come back..... nothing is better than tapping someone out. So you'll always come back. lol
Well...some things are..
