Overtraining??!
ok so i want to increase my explosiveness by a bit, do you think this is too much for one day?
12:30 pm
Squat
either
3x3
or
5x5
or
10-8-6
or
5-4-3-2-1
& Leg ext. 2x10 & Leg curls 2x10
Later that night....
7:30 pm
2-3 sets of 3-5 reps of jumping squats, which is placing the 45 lb barbell on my back and jumping from 1/4 of the way down...of a squat..
would this be too much, or in other words not good for my muscles?

I think it's ok to do that much in a day, you're hitting a lot of different muscles. Just don't do that everyday. Your body needs a day or 2 in-between
weight workouts
to let your
muscles grow
and rest. Otherwise they could get burnt out.

Not for 1 day, the jumping squats also wont do quite as much damage as the regular ones.
