Someone please tell me how good this workout is for football
Ok here we go:
Monday - Legs/Tri
Squat/Dead
Leg Press
Extensions
Curls
Calf Raises
---
Tricep raises
Skull Crushers
Wednesday - Back/Bic/Abs
Db Shrug
Inverted Flys
Seated Db Press
Back Raises
Row
---
TriBi
---
Situps
Friday - Chest/Legs
Bench Press
Incline
Decline
Negatives
---
Squat
Press
Calf Raises
--------------------------------------------------
I made the workout like this because I have figured out in football legs are VERY important. I am on offensive and defensive line. What do you guys think about the excercises, the time between muscle groups, and the order of the exercises?

Legs take a long time to recover. I wouldn't work them twice in 1 week. That will just take you backwards.
I wouldn't bother with extensions and curls. Add SLDL's if anything, much better than curls.
Back: I'd skip inverted fly's and back raises (???) and just do chins. That works your rear delt and lats.
Chest: Move DB presses here, and add front raises. Seems very footballish. I like dips instead of decline, but that's just me.

What are SLDL's? And why are they better than curls?
Back: I'd skip inverted fly's and back raises (???) and just do chins. That works your rear delt and lats.
Why skip inverted flys? Oh yea, and back raises are where I lay on my stomach on a platform, and let my head go down to teh floor, then raise it up to about a 45* angle, I hope I explained that right. And Thirdly, by chins do you mean chinups?
Chest: Move DB presses here, and add front raises. Seems very footballish. I like dips instead of decline, but that's just me.

Move Db presses to chest, I thought they worked your traps? Oh yea, what are front raises. And do dips do the same muscles as a decline fly?
I think most of the problems here are with terminology, and basicly me not really knowing what muscles to work. So thanks for your help keep it coming.

SLDL's are Stiff Legged DeadLifts. They are great for hamstrings. Feels much more natural then a leg curl, which always has people tweaking their backs.
Chinups/chins work the same muscles as an inverted fly, but less exercises since you are working lats as well. DB press is shoulders, it doesn't use traps at all. Front raise is where you put a db in front of you and raise it shoulder high. Works your front delts.
