I've been competing at county level swimming in Freestyle and fly for a couple of years. I've noticed that as i get older and up through higher age bands, that relying on my technique to win races is not keeping my ahead of the competition, therefore i was wondering whether anybody was able to give any advice into exercises or workouts which would help me?

Have you done any strength training before? A basic training program would help. Also, what kind of training are you doing in the pool to help you improve?
