will sports counteract my muscles?

im thinking of some nice tennis on one of my rest days, or maybe a little soccer or even just plain sprinting

will it counteract my muscle training? im pretty new, don't really have alot of muscles yet and losing weight is NO concern for me

i would be doing it for just plain and simple fun and it would be in moderation

thanks :

If you enjoy it ... then do it. Sports are a great distraction from the regimentation of "working out."

One of the major things to keep in mind when involved in sports (or any high level activity) is to make sure that your body is properly feed & hydrated, before, during and after. Don't let it run on empty!

Yes, cardio too ... if maintaining your muscles is important to you.
