Anyone do a HST routine and like it??

Hey,
How many of you have done or are doing an HST type workout? Do you like it and are you seeing results?

Not on it now. But did do it. How does 30lbs weight gain and a lower body fat percentage sound to you for results?

And this was while bulking. Granted there was some fat gain, but it was minimal due to 6 months of perfect attention to diet and insulin management...and the muscle gain and water increases (yeah, a lot of the gain was water from my diet) were more than the fat gain.

If you think it's interesting...go for it.

My best results were from a bit of an extreme routine that Bryan, the creator of HST won't even recommend. 2 weeks of 2x15, 2 weeks of 3x10, then 4 weeks of 5x5. But there is no doubt that HST works.

Thanks .V.
but my concern with Bulking is that I just lost 30 pounds and I don't want to put all that fat back on.. is it impossible to gain muscle size without eating like crazy?? can't just good ol' hard work do it? Everyone says you have to eat like 500 or so calories over your maintenance cals to gain muscle.. but what if I just have two more protein shakes to get the 500 cals, is that good enough? I already eat plenty of eggs, fish and chicken. So I'm wondering if the 500 calories are low in fat, maybe that's the answer.. I don't know, all I know is I don't want to get a fat belly back again... any advice would be great..

Just use a slight caloric excess of 300-500 calories/day. Sure it's possible to gain muscle without gaining fat, but it's damn hard and if everything is not perfect, you'll end up just working your butt off for no gains at all. If you don't have the fuel to use for energy and the excess nutrients to make the muscle with...you won't make it.
