Arms


I work out with curcuit machines whole body, every other day and for x-tra i work out my arms nightly...is it ok to work out my arms nightly with weights? I also do cardio, im female 34 years old

hi shaunna, i think that training any muscle without a 48 hr rest will hinder growth.
But if yr after just tone and fitnessm i see no prob

Work them like the rest of your body...and with the rest of your body. No need to do them every night really. Why not just do your arms EOD like everything else? You'll see that they will likely respond better to that with some rest days in between.

Ok.. I will try that. I was just thinking that for toning up it would have been better for everynight..

Most people need or want fat loss on a specific area when they say "tone up".

Nothing suggested yet will give you the look of toned arms without your whole body getting in line at the same time.

Id say work at an overall plan for your whole body. I don't think the daily arm weight workouts will hurt you if you are being smart about the weight used, but I also don't think you are going to get great results by doing that either.

You might need to lower your body fat through eating differently if you don't think you are looking "toned".

No every night is not good, like bodyshop said, about a 48 hour rest yet that depends on how hard you train them. Every muscle should be given a rest remeber your tearign them, you dont want to tear them down to nothing now do ya lol? Youll be fine, every muscle should be trained every other 2 days. FOr instance if u train arms monday, work them out thursday. You'll be fine
