Back/Bicep workout & energy problems...

Ok first thing: I find that I hate the back/bicep workout for the reason that especially for back, I feel so uncomfortable during the exercises...my back/bicep workout is as follows:

Wide Grip Pullups 3x8
Bent Over DB Rows 3x8
DB Curls 2x8
BB Curls 2x8

Basically, mainly with the pullups and rows....I feel so uncomfortable during the exercises....any other exercise I love the strain when pushing the weight etc but with those 2...I just dont wana be there! I hate the feeling, it just feels horrible...its the same with bicep exercises but not to the same extent...anyone know why this could be?

My second problem is with energy...I try and eat 5-6 meals a day....with enough carbs and protein...but my energy levels sometimes feel so low at the gym and I just feel as if I cant be bothered to do the workout...anyone have any energy boosting tips?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you are just burnt out mentally. Take a week off and do some fun things.

Find some new exercises for back and biceps, and try to find a workout partner to push you.

Find something that you can read or watch before you go to the gym to get you fired up for the workout.

You might want to try sort of easing off on your diet to let your body normalize again also..

Im pretty sure its not because of over training...I had a week off a few weeks ago...every other exercise is fine really...I just physically hate the back ones...when it comes to that workout I REALLY dont wana do it...Ive gotta force myself so much and I get no enjoyment out of the feeling...even if I improve over the previous week

Okay, let's try it this way..If you saw the same post as yours and it was put here by someone else how would you suggest they attack the problem?

Give examples

You just might hate training back and bi's , that simple lol. I love chest/tri day and Back/bi day, but would rather be somewhere else on leg day. But, you gotta do it.

Besides, wheres the deadlifts man? . Hmm, you are doing 2 exercises for the huge muscles of your back, and 2 exercises for those little bitty biceps. Make sense? NO. You are only training your upper back too with those exercises.

Deadlifts 2 x 5
Bent Over Rows 2 x 5
Pullups or Chinups 2 x 5
One curl exercise here. 2 x 8

Try this. These do not include warmups. Each set is a working set, which means you should be able to get no more than the reps suggested and should struggle to get the last rep. Wait till you are fully recovered, evne if it takes 5-10 mins, then hit the set again hard . Just my 02.
