Back Hurts

Damn, I just got done doing squats and I dont know what I hurt, but my lower back feels alot of pressure and the side of my back hurts. Feels like the bone on lower, and I think a pulled a muscle on the side.

I hate to say I told you so, but....

In any case, you'd do well to follow the basic internet advice of RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation). If the pain continues or worsens, have a doc check you out. If you wanna avoid this in the future, listen to some of the people on here about the possibility of muscle imblanaces.

When squatting the lower back is under tremendous stress
So make sure the lift is correct or you get what you have now.
Put heels on a 2 inch block so feet are like on yr toes slightly and look up at the top of the rooms wall and lift slowly and controlled.
This is basicaaly a good posture and has proved good for me over the yrs.
And i do have a back that pulls easy so i know it works

Only if you injure the growth-plates on your bones. The best bet is to make sure you're keeping up proper form before getting too crazy with added weight.

Putting blocks under your heels is a crutch for avoiding the hard work of correcting bad form. It doesn't do you any favours. It will eventually turn into knee pain.

Lower your working weight and concentrate on keeping your heels planted on the ground while you squat. It will likely require strengthening your hamstring, lower back and glute muscles.

Squatting with heels elevated kicks ass, occassionally... It knocks the stuffing outta your quads... Obviously tho, it's not how you should usually squat, but as an alternative, it's great stuff...

Squatting in the Smith machine sucks...

I'd alternate with front squats or hack squats to fry the quads.
