The best way to lose fat is to do it by using resistance training, along with a sound diet suited towards your goals and implementing cardio vascular exercise.

Also, quick fat loss is not the best recipe for long term results. If you want to get lean fast, you can easily do it, but be prepared to lose muscle along the way with your fat. When you go back to normal eating habits, your metabolism will then be slowed even more, and you'll gain back the fat.

However, if you ensure that you lose your bodyweight slowly and very gradually, you will lose fat without the lean muscle loss. This is best for long term fat loss results and increasing your metabolism permanently.

Use the "Search" function within this forum to read threads regarding fat loss, proper diet for fat loss and cardio implementation.
