It's going good bro! Just started my first week of true dieting for the contest in April! So far so good! Got my game plan and going from there! My cardio is at 3 days per week and will be increased to 5 days per week as the weeks go on. Doing Max OT cardio... 16 hard mins per cardio session! Should feel good to get ultra ripped!
Rookie -- Sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth extraction, I know how it is to work so hard for so much muscle and then something out of the blue happens that you don't have much control over. All I can say is...I totally sympathize with you and I know how it feels, been there a few times before, and it's frustrating to say the least! Keep the positive attitude and workout a plan on paper on what you must do to get back at it!

glad to hear everything is running to plan there todd, keep it up champ and keep us updated on how its all progressing, im really keen to hear all about it.
sorry to hear about your misfortune rookie with your teeth and the layoff from training...when you feel fit and train hard you should see alot of whats gone pack on straight away, 3 weeks although i know can feel like an eternity really is not that bad and you may bounce back all the better for it and i wish you all the best in your return.
i dont think i would be ready for comp for a few years (at least -if ever!) yet, but im still eager to hear about how everyone is preparing up for their comps.
wish you all the best todd with your lead up, not really long now and im sure theres a heck of a lot of hardwork and committment between now and then, good luck.

thanks both of u guys... yea im comin back pretty decently i said f*** it and ima bulk like a crazy man for the next month to just get back to the weight i was at... and jay my best advice is to go on a cutting cycle right now to see how long it takes you to get to the weight you would want to compete at and to see how ur body responds.. then bulk back up . just incase you do go in a comp u gotta kno how long it takes u to cut, it will be difficult to do it your first time b4 a comp...

You are welcome buddy! And the longer you do the program, the better the results. Again though, you have to follow it to a "T" to get amazing results, but if you do, you will be experiencing things you never have before...and in record time.
It's funny, I am dieting for my contest... 3 or so weeks into it already and some of the guys at my gym who are also doing the same contest, are doing hours of cardio, working out twice per day PLUS doing long cardio sessions, etc...and here I am doing 16 mins of Max OT cardio 3 times per week, working out for no longer than 40-50 minutes and am already starting to see awesome results. I have actually gained lean body mass while reducing my body fat percentage by a % or two...can't ask for more than that! I am surprised to say the least....who says you can't get ripped and keep/gain muscle mass at the same time!! I will keep you guys posted!!!
Rookie - Glad you tried Max OT and saw results already, that's awesome!!

Cool, maybe you'll find a good contest this summer; I'm sure you'd place well. My left shoulders been bugging me since around christmas so i haven't progressed much in the upper body, but my lower body is progressing real well. I finally got an appointment with a doc set up for this monday so I should see how bad my shoulder is, hopefully I didn't screw it up bad, but I'm afraid I did.
