Burned Calories...When?

I wasnt sure whether to post this hear, or in diet/nutrition, but i ended up choosing this.

Say I end up cheating late at night on a sunday.
Those extra calories...to get burned off, must they be burned right away. Or what if I wake up in the morning and run very very intense HIIT and later on that evening follow up with my normal weight session...or end up playing alot of basketball the next day, does this make up for my cheat? or is that just burning those calories that ive taken in during THAT day...inside of my mistakes YESTERDAY?

Just forget those calories. It doesnt work like that : u cant cheat and then just burn them all off with cardio, its not like currency : ill do this half hour of cardio to buy one donut, or whatever.

Forget the calories, do your usual workout, don't worry about it. Its only a few hundred (thousand?) calories in the grand scheme of things.

Plus, from your avatar it looks like you certainly dont need to worry about some extra calories.

good luck!

yeah, your right minime.

So many times I let a cheat meal discourage me, but I wont this time. Im just gonna keep lifting hard and not worry about it.

My thing is Im struggling because I was trying to cut, but it didnt work. I didnt lose any body fat, and yet just lost strength. so now im cutting out the cardio(HIIT), and lifting super heavy, and keeping with my 6 o clock carb cutoff, and see if that doesnt work...its all about experiements right? :

thanks again

What do you eat after 6 oclock when you cut off carbs? Veggies with the Protein?

I don't think there is any set time but go ahead and add extra calorie burning activities when you feel you can. Every little bit helps in the overall energy balance equation.

yah it is hard with every meal.... what I found best to do is cook big batches of a few different veggies..

so like bucket of green beans, peas, broccoli ..etc...

that way you have variety at least to choose from and all you have to do is grab em from the fridge.

Bingo, she just said it all in one sentence.

If you are wanting to drop some fat - keep this in mind and look at your entire week, not one meal.

If you want to gain some muscle - same thing.

Simple burn more than you take in and you lose. Take in more than your burn and you gain.

It's really that simple most of the time unless you are in the final days of a contest prep, on the day of a sporting event, or something like that.
