I'm looking at buying a bench but many that are in my price range don't include decline is this a problem? is decline worth the extra money?
Cheers

I would say incline is more valuble than decline but that's because I never do decline.

Make sure the bench can hold your weight plus the weight you plan on benching. Notice I said plan on because if you get it for what you can bench now then you will outgrow it in no time.
I would say if you are going to take the time and spend the moneu then get it all. Yes Decline is a must

The next bench that Lady C and I buy will allow decline to 30°, and incline to 80º.

I would vote "NO" but thats because I am partial to dips instead of declines (hate being upside down).

definitely go for the decline option. I am very partial to declines now, as I feel they are the least stressful on my shoulders. But I don't like a big decline, I perfer a small angle, around 15-20 degrees, just enough to be on a decline, but not enough to get a head rush, lol

With respect to your pick, note that: - The uprights (barbell supports) are too narrow. Your options for grip on the bar will be limited.
- There is no decline option.
- There is only a single incline position.
- Do you really want a leg-extension/hamstring-curl attachment?

We once had a bench like that. The three incline positions that they're boasting don't offer much variation (they're set by moving that 'little' rod up and down, through the barbell upright supports). I see what you mean about the price range ... that's pretty darn cheap. How much weight do you plan on benching with this unit?

I think a beginer will out grow that bench in 3 months. Check Cursor's post above this one.
