I read an interesting article in Ironman mag, dated Feb 2002. It stated that when performing calf raises, always pause momentarily at the top and bottom. When using heavy calf raises you can indeed use a fair amount of weight but remembering to keep a slight bend in the knees to take of the pressure. For people who have high calves, pause at the top and for people with low calves, pause at the bottom. I would think that this is probably true and is not out of date.

uzbekodiak: Si escribieras tus 'posts' en inglés, usando palabras verdaderas (y apropiadamente deletreadas), te daríamos más atención. :

dam dis shts hrd 2 reed. prhps we shud stp using kebrd shrthnd, and just type out the words as correctly as we can. Saving 3 seconds typing out a post that takes someone 20 minutes to figure out what you were trying to say isn't worth it.

"Apropiadamente deletreadas" is Spanish, for [words] 'properly/appropriately spelled'.

You must mean:
"I was watching Asafa Powell running in the Commonwealth Games and noticed he had very small calfs (or calves)."
