I can never do a pull up and I'm wondering how I can start practice doing it. For example, if I'm doing bicept curls, I can start off with light weights and gradually move onto heavier weights but for pullups I just can't do it and there's no way to practice doing it either. One other reason I don't do it is because when other ppl see me struggling, it's embarassing.

Do pulldowns/assisted pullups on machine, gradually increase resistance
