Cardio and Lifting

Is there any benefit to doing a 10-15 minute warm up with cardio prior to lifting? I have also read some people do their cardio after they lift. Is there any benfit from this?

Warm-up is usually 5 mins. Some people do light cardio. I do real light reps of whatever compound movements I'm going to perform.

if the cardio session is fairly intensive, its best to do this after working out.

by doing it before lifting any weights, your energy levels are going to be pretty low.

Its better to do your cardio and lifting at least 8 hours apart if your lifestyle allows it!
