Celebrity Benchpress max?

Hey guys, I'm just kinda bored and was wondering if anyone knew what the bench press max was for some of hollywood's more fit celebrities. I've read before from different interviews that Nelly's has a max of 270, Vin Diesel of 350, and Will Smith of 385. Anyone out there know the maxes for any other celebrities?

Although there is no way I could prove it, I would say that in most cases celebrity performance suffers from "number inflation" (Occurs often in the gym also, usually when you ask a guy how much can he bench and he mentally adds on 20-25lbs and answers, but when you ask to see him do it, no doubt he is injuried or some other excuse).

LOL...blah

I read somewhere GDub pushes some good weight, high 200s around 280 if I remember correctly. I can't help but think MostMuscle is right about most anyone in the public eye and lift inflation. Take em all with a grain of salt.

Ok first, whos GDub?

Will Smith did bulk pretty good for his new movie and as always Vin is in shape... I'm surprised that nelley only benches 270 actually. Even if the numbers are inflated though we'd never know so no point in debating.

Paul Senior from Orange County Choppers benches 400 though...

i agree, not to mention that a celebrity benchpress probably consists of bouncing the damn bar above your chest

There was an episode that showed Paul Senior going to the gym and benching 400 legit.

As far as LL Cool J, it is well known that he has been working out for years, even when he first came out in the late 80s, he would rap about his muscles and flex in his videos. In recent years it seems he has taken his workouts to a whole new level and does look very impressive indeed

This may be BS, but I heard somewhere that LL Cool J has a very interesting method of keeping himself sane with his level of fitness. Every month, he takes one week off to eat whatever he wants. I think he still weight trained and stuff, but diet was out the door for that time. Seems reasonable for maintenance. like you said, he has been working our for years so he's got a great base to hang on to during maintenance.

arnold holds the record at 550...but he cant do it anymore

btw, maverick, your goals are wierd...your deadlift is more than 2x your bodyweight and your squat is more than 1.75x your bw...the only one that makes sense is the bench

Yeah, but when I set the goals they weren't. Now I wanna see how far over my goals I can go. And I still need 5 pounds on that squat .

Will smith benches 385? I'd have to see that one to believe it. Only one reason I'd ever think it was possible but i don't want to get banned for saying it, even though it woudln't be meant as a negative thing.
