Creatine and Table Sugar

I know there are tons of posts about creatine, but they didnt answer my question. I have read several times that creatine should be taken with a juice like grape juice, for the sugar. It is ok to just mix the creatine with water, and a teaspoon of table sugar? Will that accomplish the same thing? Thanks guys.

Hi

The method you are describing is the delivery system.

Using creatine with a high sugary carb delivery works on the assumption that having a GI of 100% will cause an immediate insulin spike therefore removing the bound creatine and glucose from the blood stream and stuffing it directly through muscle cells.

On the flip side, I would be more concerned about insulins primary objective....

Guzzle creatine with water....

I'd combo the creatine with a time you want to spike insulin like P.W. in which case Dextose works better.

Also creatine is cheap so may be take half a dose in the morning half at lunch and a full dose PW with dextrose.
