I recently figured out I have Type II Diabetes so I'm stopping my bulking program to start cutting. I'm 5'6 and started bulking at a weight of 138lbs; now I weight 160lbs. I tore my meniscus and strained my ACL playing soccer so I'm really not into running right now. So far I plan on altering my diet to eating less carbs (
fibrous carbs only though) and less fat. This is what my schedule is going to look like:
Monday: Chest, Abs
Tuesday: Cardio
Wednesday: Biceps, Back, Forearms
Thursday: Legs
Friday: Shoulders, Triceps
I know to continue doing
high weight less reps so I'm going to be doing a 3x6 routine because I'm currently reaching a plateau at 3x4.
So I'm wondering if this is a good routine and also what to do about cardio. I like biking so I'm leaning towards doing that for cardio, but I'm not really sure how long to bike for, etc. Thanks for the help.
