do you HAVE to sweat to burn fat?

when doin HIT, i usually sweat but not as much as i see other people drowning in sweat; at the same time when i do cardio at my 85% heart rate sometimes, i hardly sweat but i do breathe heavily.....my question :

DO I HAVE TO SWEAT A LOT TO KNOW THAT I AM BURNING CALORIES OR FAT?

Agreed. Perspiration does not dictate whether or not the activity performed is of a sufficient intensity - I happen to sweat just walking briskly uphill (I unfortunately am prone to overheating quicker/ greater when exercising than my peers, thus the excess sweating - I forget the medical term for this).

I find that now that ive been working out for about 15 weeks straight, i sweat much much less than when i first started. I push myself even harder now than i did at the start as well.

So sweating doesnt really give a good idea of fat burning. Heres another way to look at it...what if you just ate a bunch of pasta and then go do a workout? You may be sweating, but burning glycogen, not fat...
