The pics don't show much to be able to guage any progress. It looks like you're damn lean and the bulk should do you some great. Best of luck.

Not so lean in the last pic and as of progress, too soon to tell for LBM, but just right to tell if I'm headed in the wrong direction, the fatness can be attributed to creatine mono correct? I just finished loading today.

Wow dude no offense but if you think you have a jelly belly you have some serious image problems. You're at a great place to start a bulk just stay on top of your diet to minimize fat gains.

Okay, I'll rephrase, "bloated belly" if it were jelly I'd have no definition, but still, after a big meal it sticks out of my shirt, hate the gut/skinny arm look.

Get yourself some big arms then

Seriously don't worry about a little tummy, eat clean and big and you will gain some size all round. You have a very similar body shape to myself when I was 18/19.

With some dedication it won't be long before you've got some shirt ripping guns.

Were your stomach muscles relaxed when you took those photos? If so, I agree with Alex about eating clean and big. That is the only way to gaining size.

If you stomach is bugging you that much start doing planks and vacuums. These will train your transverse abs and help with keeping your midsection "tighter".

clean bulk, i eat clean as possible, but is NUTELLA bad, one serving 100 cals on a bagel? I have no soda or candy or sugar. My sugar comes from gatorade (creatine) and fruit. i eat whole wheat and lean everything. My macro is 45 carb 35 protein 20 fat. And yes, those pics were relaxed and no pump.

The only way to bulk is to eat a LOT of high quality foods while lifting heavy on the compound lifts. Most people really have to push themselves to eat enough to gain serious weight. Don't be afraid of red meat, either. It is your friend during a bulk. Nutella isn't bad if it is the only sweet stuff you are eating. I wouldn't worry about it.

dude you are no where near lean, or fat! you honestly look unhealthy, skinny... you have barely any visible muscle. quit looking for compliments and advice if you wont listen to it. EAT SOME FOOD AND GET BIG AND STRONG! you have no shoulders, no traps, no arms, no chest, probably have no back or legs either! screw the 1700 calories a day start eating 2500+

sorry for dissing you, but you need a reality check. your belly is not the most important thing, which everyone tells you it looks fine anyways! <---LISTEN to what Im sayng right here! you dont see goose or vas worrying about there bellies (no offense guys) there trying to get big, its as simple as that, when they get where they want to, they will get there belly back because they just do it , and with consistency, instead of spending precious hours on this forum asking question after question about fat loss!

Peace---->W.L.G.

I'd say that's a bit of a harsh response westside. The kid's just looking for some pointers.

Getaway, don't get too obsessed early on about the size of your stomach, eat big and train heavy, compound exercises should help you fill out across your shoulders, chest and arms. Judging by your frame and age you can get away with eating some Nutella and other stuff. Maybe switch the Nutella for Peanut butter if your worried about it though?

Do some ab work if it makes you feel better, at least then you know on a future cut that you just have a layer of fat hiding your abs.

Never forget the importance of training legs though, a solid base will increase mass all over.

I honestly think a sound weight training program, diet program and cardio program is what you should be looking to implement at this time. You have a ton of development yet to be obtained, so doing the above three things consistently will help you in all aspects (keeping body fat gain minimized and more muscle built) to shift your body composition for the better.

Work on doing the basic lifts (squat, dead lift, bench presses, barbell curl, d-bell side laterals, military presses, etc) in order to recruit the most muscle fibers in the quickest time.

Eat clean sources of protein, carbs and fats for ALL of your daily meals.

Get plenty of rest and have fun watching the changes take place!
