In Front of the Dumbbells...

Just got back from my workout and have to get these observations out...

This post is titled "In Front of the Dumbbells"

1.) The guy that shadow boxes in front of the dumbbells.
2.) The guy that dances in front of the dumbbells.
3.) The guy that poses in front of the dumbbells.
4.) The guy that talks on his cell in front of the dumbbells.
5.) The guy that curls in front of the dumbbells.
6.) the guy that passes gas in front of the dumbbells.
7.) The guy that lateral raises in frontof the dumbbells.
8.) The guy that picks his teeth, pops his shoulder zits, or checks his hair in front of the dumbbells.
9.) The gal that performs all her dumbbell work (front rasies, side raises, DB curls, and overhead extensions) in front of the dumbbells.
10.) The guy that warms up his shoulders with the very helpful "arm circles" in front of the dumbbells.

Why isn't the shrug guy not on here you may ask? Becasue those DB's tend to be heavy.

This may seem like a post that focuses on the negative without providing a solution...well I will suggest a solution: Take 2 steps back and 1 aside in front of the dummbells!

How about when they take the time to acknowledge you standing there behind them, usually with a client, waiting for them to "finish their set" so you can squeeze in there and grab the DB's you need,...and they just keep on going,...even when they stop,...they don't move.

I've had more close calls than I'd care for and I never understood that one either. Why some people can't just move back a tad,....just a bit,.... you can still see in the mirror. But it'd be nice to let other people get access to the DB's without getting konked in the noggin trying to navigate swinging DB's usually backed by momentum.

Guilty of #6 but I run away after so that the guy grunting with the 25 lb dumbell presses gets blamed for it.

Another good one,...is try to make a loud noise with your sneaker or make the bench squeak so everyone thinks THAT was the sound they just heard. Yep.
