you cant do anything to "shape" a muscle, you can ONLY MAKE IT BIGGER.

thats the best way I learned to go about lifting.

Why? Because you can lift more weight during a barbell curl? If so, think about why that is. It's not because you are stronger when doing a barbell curl, it's because 1) you're in a position of mechanical advantage when compared to doing a concentration curl, and 2) you ARE using your shoulders, back, etc in the lift.

EDIT: Which we go over, it seems, with every muscle group, so I guess there's really no point in discussing this.
