lower chest?

I'm looking for a workout that concentrates on the lower part of the chest(pec). I currently do flat bench, incline bench, DB flat, decline db and dips. The problem is I never really feel like I'm giving my lower chest a workout. I can feel the pump in upper and the side of my chest but not my lower. Whats the best workout?

From my experience, lower chest doesn't really get pumped. It just gets toned and cut more right after the workout. But that could very easily just be genetics.
Either way, it looks like your doing the right stuff. That's what I use for lower chest and it works great. Decline dumbell and dips work best that I know of. Just up he weight, lower the reps possibly.

Maybe someone else can tell you a lil more what's going on. But all I can tell you is to keep it up, and switch it up, and you'll see results.

"Lower chest" is the same muscle (pectoralis major) that you work when you do flat benches. You can't really "target" one part of the muscle. Lift heavy weights and don't worry about it.

You can and you cant, if that makes any sense. There wouldnt be all of these seperate exercises and machines if you couldnt. Concentrate heavy on decline barbell and dumbell presses, weighted dips, flys, and upper abdominals (these help distinguish that "cup line" even more).

Define lower chest.

Last i heard you couldn't target a part of a muscle. Is'nt your lower chest still your chest?

The pectoralis major has a sternal and clavicular head. "Lower" chest would be the sternal.

I can see real growth over the last year (that's how long I have been lifting). From a site profile, my upper part of my chest come way out but then the lower you go the more flat it becomes. My weight keeps increasing about 5 to 10 lb per 2 week period.

*I use a wide grip***
