Manta Ray


Where can I get one, anyone know? I cannot order online cuz I'm desperate to have by next monday, and I jut hate ordering online.
Anywayz my new gym doesnt have them and to go heavy on squats I need it, or else my head is pound by like three reps. Any help appreciated.

Check with your local sporting goods store. Many of them will special order.

Rekon seaworld might have a few, be pretty surprised if they sell you one though lol

Am I retarded caue I don't know what a Manta ray (as a piece of gym equipment) is ??

I do do shrugs, and plenty of them. And I can flex my traps for a squat if that's what your saying, but I don't like to. It still gives me a headache, I still can't lift as much, therefore I still don't get any stronger, and I still blow all the blood vessels in my shoulders.

I'd be willing to bet your bar placement is wrong if you have a nice set of traps.

I won't deny that as a possibility. I need alotta help as much as the next guy. But at the same time, my traps aren't like insane. I mean, their definately not non existent, and mostly they've increased from cleans. Either way, Ive always used the manta ray, so Ive kinda become spoiled with it, and hate squats without it. I have to worry enough about squats with my knee the way it is, let alone trying to focus on shoulders

I had a similar problem posted a week ago. I'm probably the most experenced lifter you've ever met who never did squats. Recently I've been forced to (got yelled at for rigging the legpress for extra wieght). I personally like the manta ray and if you keep you head back it keeps the bar right in place.
