Well you should feel better knowing that you don't have to hate me as much as most. Besides you are way stronger than me.

khaine - keep plugging at it. post your current arm workout and see if someone can give you some ideas. the main thing to remember is that they WILL grow eventually - they'll have to if you keep increasing your bench and row.

Probably... My bench has been stuck for about 8 months or so... So a lot of the problem is probably rooted there... Even after I had switched to DB presses and got those up to 100s for reps, my bench didn't budge... Rows are steadily increasing tho... DB rows up to 95s for reps now... Blahhh...
Right now, I'm on a high frequency, low volume routine... 3 full body days a week... Basically doing a row, squat and press each time, 4x6... Arms only get a couple sets on Mondays and Fridays (DB curls and tricep extensions), at the end of the workout... Nothing that should really impair growth, if anything give it a little push... Only did this for a few weeks steady tho, and that was before christmas... Still got time in the new year to see if it works...
JUST got back to the gym after 3 weeks off tho, so I'm trying something new now... 4 weeks of hypertrophy-geared lifting (6-8 reps) wit SOME auxiliary work (like above) and 4 weeks of strength-geared lifting (2-4 reps) wit NO auxiliary work, separated by a light week rather than an off-week... Hopefully, a schedule like this will allow me to increase the weights on the major lifts for my hypertrophy-geared periods, which should lead to more growth... Blahhh...
Oh, and I'm starting creatine and upping my calories again... So I got plenty goin on...

you may have to switch form. i've noticed that the standard bodybuilding flatback form is very limited by how much your shoulders can handle. if you switch to metal militia form, your main support becomes your lats and you can handle much more weight. when i bench with elbows straight out at the sides (not tucked in), i can't go over 125, *maybe* 135, and it feels like my front delts are ripping.

Yea, I already narrowed my grip a tad and started tucking elbows to try and save my shoulders... When I squeeze my lats together tho, I usually can't feel my chest working as much... I only played around with it tho and can't say I've made an all-out effort yet... I'll try it seriously for a couple weeks on my next strength cycle...

My right arm is 17" and left is 16 3/4". Does anyone else get strech marks on their bis? I've been putting vitamin e cream on them to see if that helps. If anyone knows of any remedies let me know. Thanks.

Khaine, have you ever tried just working each body part once a week..?? i think it is key to growth. A touch more rest, is better than less.
Also between sets how much are you resting? I rest 4minutes, people that rest too little (can't generalise) i think are impeding their ability to lift to an extent.

Vas, you mentioned about how you swear by concentration curls. Do they really add height to your biceps? I was thinking more along the lines also of people who used to say that preacher curls would fill in the gap in the elbow joint, so I'm just trying to get an idea.
Also, apart from that guy with that isane size arms who's name slips my mind, is there any other bodybuilder who holds the title of having huge arms?

Your biceps are 17.5 inches in diameter? That's... 3.14 * 17.5 = approximately 55 inches around! Damn dude, you're big.
Not that it matters cause i don't bodybuild but mine are 16.5 at a bw of 185.
Rofl i lied. Remeasured and im actually only at 15.5 right now. Wow i reallly am tiny.

heh - i can't feel my chest working at ALL when i bench. but the bar goes up, so something's doing something in there...
seriously, try it - remember this: if you're comfortable in the position, it's wrong. it's probably oen of THE most uncomfortable positions on the planet.

Man, if I could get mine to grow fast enough to cause stretch marks - I'd show them off with pride.
Stretch marks on the arms=cool. Stretch marks on the abdomen=uncool (unless they are from carrying a baby - then they are well deserved and should also be worn with pride).
