I want to know how to bodybuilders get that huge vein that runs between their bicep and triceps? Is it to do with diet or is it to do with if you've got that type of vascularity?

DarkLord,
More blood pumping through them to supply the muscle with blood increases their size. Less fat covering them makes them more visible.
Gearloose,
I hope you are right. But either way...I'm not the way I was and it's better than before. That's good enough for now. Of course like everyone else, there are times I want to be a monster - then there are times I'm just glad that I'm improved over the old way. Thanks for the reminder.

DL - what andy said, plus your body has to have one running in that particular location.

Also, apart from that guy with that isane size arms who's name slips my mind, is there any other bodybuilder who holds the title of having huge arms?

Yeah Darklord, i swear by concentration curls, either done traditionally, or as you can see Arnold in his Pumping Iron vid, where hes bent, doing it similarly. I honestly do Concentration curls and my arms literally look wider, not just a mind thing, than compared to doing barbell or alternate dumbell curls.
I notice a big difference by doing just concentration curls, and thats all i do, i dont do no other bicep exercise, besides warming up with alternates and then do concentration curls.
All i could sya is try doing 2-3 or 4 sets of Alternates, and take a look in the mirror, and then do 4 sets of Concentration curls with the 4th set being max you can handle at like 4-6rep range, and then take a look at a mirror. If you have decent sized arms, which ~17'' arms you should be able to notice it visibly, just after that one workout.

Stretch marks on the arms=cool. Stretch marks on the abdomen=uncool (unless they are from carrying a baby - then they are well deserved and should also be worn with pride).

Khaine how does your back routine look like, are you including Chinups ?? underhand grip. As they also give my arms the biggest pump i can ever achieve, during my back workouts.
Just if you don't i highly recommend you incorporate it, i do it Cursor style (i think!) with thumbless grip, and i only go up about 60% of the movement, just above halfway when i lift up, and it works the lats amazingly and biceps too.

Yeeea, they took away the chin/dip tower when they refurnished my gym, so now they only have an assisted chin/dip machine, which is useless... I do pulldowns instead now, underhand grip, beats the hell outta my bis indeed...
Why only 60% tho...? My lats work A LOT harder if I stretch them all out...

Indeed...why only 60%? The stretch at the bottom of the movement is just as important (if not more so) than a full contraction at the top. You should always let the resistance stretch your lats fully on each rep for optimal stimulation.

Don't forget Hammer curls. They hit the muscle in a way that it help "pop" it up sort of.

I never had a problem with stretch marks, thank God. I wonder if its an individual thing. I mean, I put on 29 pounds in about 11 weeks in the fall and no stretch marks. What about guys like Lee Priest? He has ballooned up to like 300 pounds in the off-season and then competed at 225 with no signs of stretch marks.

rse don't forget to measure those forearm muscle either, otherwise you will all be out of proportion. It's weird that so few people don't train forearms much at all, well not to the gym I use.
