Needing To Eat More

A couple of weeks ago I decided to start beefing back up. Here lately I have had trouble eating. On average I have only been getting 250 grams of protein/day, and not enough calories. The weight gainer is great, but it fills me up too long, and the milk makes me sick.
Anyone have suggestions to get my motivation back to start eating again?

I think part of the problem is the 12 hour shifts I am on. I sleep all day and work all night, and when I do work, I am usually busy or have something that delays me from eating.

All bad excuses I know

What do you weigh ??.. if it over 250lbs then maybe 250grams of protein is insufficient otherwise it strikes me 250g is plenty (working off the 1g/lbs of bodyweight generally expounded round here - which BTW is working for me). Possibly would be better getting the majority from food rather than powder but 2nd still beats 3rd if ya know what I mean .

Definately know what ya mean Re: work and bad eating habits, though I am not a shift worker I do know what it is like to just simply not have time to eat (or eat what I know I should) definately gets frustrating.

I find if I plan (and I do mean plan ) the how, what, when, where of my meals for the following day I can often avoid eating crap or nothing because I got distracted.

These things take time and if every so often you have a 'bad food day' don't worry too much about it, try figure out what caused it (or is causing them as it may be) and address that issue.

That's what I rekon.

I weigh 240 lbs. I try to get 1.5 to 2 grams of protein when packing on weight, 1 gram/lb. isn't enough for me. I would eventually like to be close to 260 lbs.
