Wild stuff man. That juggling looks intense. I was wondering how long you were going to keep that first set on the video going, I was getting tired just watching it.
Any concern with the heavier weights bringing your upper body down low so fast? It looked at points like you were being forced quickly into the bottom position of a good morning.

No concerns until I saw it on video. Felt fine though. I've got good hamstring flexibility and my lower back is one of my strong points.
Hard to tell on the vid, but the last swing with the 88's really launched me forward. That tends to happen when you're not used to swinging a heavier weight. That was the first time I attempted juggling the 88's... last year around the same time I was exactly where I'm at now, with the 70's.

Excellent vid Dan. You did a brutal amount of work! Two thumbs up for certain. Looks like those got pretty close to face. Ever take a shot to the head with one of those babies?

Excellent exhibition Dan. Great hand-to-eye coordination along with strength. So what's next? Juggling kettlebell chainsaws maybe.
Have a great day!

Glad you liked. To date, besides a torn callous or two, no injuries via kettlebell. <knocks on wood>

I just got some good ideas from that video on using the KB's in the gym.
I particularly liked the 1 arm overhead press like if you were climbing a ladder, one hand up at a time, then the other.

Which one? The alternating snatch done during the juggling sequence, or the "see-saw" press at the end?

You can do the alternating cleans/snatches with a "one count" or a "two count."
One count - one bell is going up simultaneously while the other is going down.
Two count - one bell goes down and then the other goes up.
Jess does them both in this video... www.bemoretraining.com/vids/jesskb.wmv ...two count alternating snatches in the beginning and one count alternating cleans towards the end.
One count alternating cleans are the sprinting of kettlebell training... I haven't done much snatching like that.

I kinda took it for granted watching it the first time, but after my workout today I was thinking more about it. Were your forearms burning like hell or what on those long sets? I was too busyy thinking about how difficult its got to be to manipulate those things in mid air to consider how hard it has to be on your grip.
