Question on Splits

Hi guys. Ive been having trouble with motivation and im hoping a change of pace is what i need. Im thinking of trying the Westside routine but im also thinking of other options. Its funny though, im having trouble fitting everything in. Im thinking of a couple different splits and wanted to see what you think.

A word about my goals. I am not a bodybuilder. Yes, i would love to look good but strength and conditioning are first and foremost for me. My job as a police officer means i need to be in good shape for my safety so that's my concern. Also, i training in Mixed Martial Arts tuesday and thursday nights for an hour or so. Anyways, here are some of my ideas:

1st split: Monday: Chest/Shoulders/Tricepts
Tuesday: Mixed Martial Arts
Wednesday: Back/Bi
Thursday: Mixed Martial Arts
Friday: Legs

The problems i have here is im not sure the two nights of MMA is enough for cardio and i dont know where to fit anything else in. I have been doing the boxing workout on Bas Rutten's Mixed Martial Arts Workout CD's and love it. Ive been doing 10 3 min rounds with 1 min rest in between and its great cardio. Problem is i dont know where to fit this in. Also, i was thinking about adding in a seperate day for arms but this wont fit either. Any ideas guys? Thanks!

Well... what are your cardio goals?

Are you wanting to lose fat?
Are you wanting to have a healthy cardiovascular system?
Are you wanting to be able to run down a bad guy for a 1/2 mile chase?

It's a pretty common split, i'm about to bring Shoulders into Chest/Tri from the leg day, so I'll be on exactly the same. Cardio-wise, if you feel you're not getting results (assuming you're trying to burn fat?) maybe add another day in. Make sure your diet is in check.

Is it possible to throw in a cardio session on the weekend?
