Just so I'm understanding your last post correctly, if the heart rate link is true then we would have something easy and affordable to measure to see if our training is going in the right direction?

Even better, you could guage overtraining based on it and experiment to find the optimal level per individual during overreaching. However this is just a theory, alot of research and studying I have to do before its proven solid. Just like everything it has around a 30% probably of being effective. What I need to find out is how the 4 variables effect the heart rate, blood pressure and other parameters.

Thanks.

Mel Siff was the worlds formost leader in exercise science. Passed way a couple of years ago. I studied under him and had just got to really know him before he passed away. No telling where I'd be if I had not took a liking to his work.
