What's gay about it and who cares if it is.
For flexibility, work on strength and stretching. If you do a stretching routine every time you workout, your flexibility will improve. I do about 1 minute for each stretch. That would be quadracep stretching, hamstring stretching, calf stretching, low back stretching, bicep and tricep stretching, and a full split. I do this on conditioning day for one minute each after running and again after sprints. Sometimes at the end of my conditioning workout too, sometimes not.
And no, I'm not as flexible as him, but I'm very, very old.

Check out Pavel's "Relax into Stretch" book. Very advanced techniques that will improve your flexibility a lot fast than conventional passive stretching.

The genetics of your body will limit flexibilty and the age you start stretching.
I was very tight after yrs of heavy lifting, then took up karate at 30yrs of age and stretching was real hard and it took 7yrs to be able to box split.

What Dan C said. Pavel has some good info on flexibility in that book.
When I built up to doing the splits what I found to help a lot was:
- Stretch frequently (ie, everyday if possible).
- Do a variety of stretches
- Stretch after your workout or at least when you are warm (don't stretch to increase flexibility before a workout)
- Use static stretching, some dynamic stretches, and PNF stretching.

I think everyone has seen this movie. Even the ones who won't admit to watching a chick flick like this one. Hey, it does have an explosion, some guns, and a couple of fights, so it's not too bad.

I wanted to see them sweep the eyeballs off the floor at the end of the night. False advertising if you ask me!

I'm a huge Jeff Healey fan. That's all I think of when I see this thread.

Yes.
OT:
He has a club in Toronto now and I believe it is called Roadhouse. He also has a band now called Jeff Healey's Jazz Wizards. They play mostly jazz standards in traditional style.
