I am always debating whether I should do 3 or 4 sets per exercise. Any thoughts on this?

I surprised that there isn't a advantage or disadvantage to one or the other. If there isn't that big of a differance than I will skip the 4th set. Thanks.

I think the point is - try both for a period of time and see what works best for you. For most lifts you'll probably find 3 sets sufficient.
