Soreness and More Soreness

How many of you have been to the gym and only completed two sets per body part and are still in agony the next day? I stumbled across one of Arnold's articles in an oldish M&F for hardgainers saying that you shouldn't really train if your still sore. Would this apply for myself who worked shoulders and traps yesterday but am on legs today? Does he mean don't train muscle groups near the muscles you have worked or any muscles at all?

If your arms are sore you can still train legs, The article proberly meant dont train a sore area again until recovered
So if legs ache dont train them until ok
So train another body part

And to a certain extent, it's good for you. It's called active recovery. For example, you perform bench press, and the next day or two, you decide to do some push ups. Your simply pushing more blood back into that muscle, and thus, actually letting it recover faster and get back to normal.
The same as if you did squats and within the next day or two you go for a job, or play some football. It's not gonna hinder you. It's going to help recovery.

Good point from both of you there as sometimes you have to use your legs or any other muscle group for something whether sore or not. When I read " Arnold an Education of a Bodybuilder " I was quite shocked how intense a beginner's bodybuilding workout was. Not forgeting he was on Dbol which improves recovery time.
