Sprained Wrists

I sprained both my wrists realllly bad playing basketball. I'm now undergoing light Physical therapy trying to get it hilled quickly and took the last two days off. But now I was wondering if anyone can give me suggestions as to what to do so I don't completely detrain myself during this recovery.

And also so I don't get fat :
Mainly I'm look for a way to burn calories that involves strength movements. In other words, I hate running

Actually sprained? Follow your doctor's instructions which were probably to take 6 weeks off and let them heal.

If you have a real sprain and don't let it heal properly before stressing it with training again, it will give you trouble for the rest of your life.

Maybe squats, lots of them, without too much weight? Leg extensions, leg curls? Box jumps? Just whatever you do with these, don't fall.

Take time off until they heal. Even with leg work, you still need your wrists to load and unload weight. Any stress on them will, at the very least, delay the healing process.

Keep the diet up, do some walking, and wait until they heal. In the grand scheme of things, what's a few weeks of training?

Get a friend to help you train. You can do squats but will need someone to load/unload the bar and give you a really good spot.

I have to agree with the other two guys though. Make sure you let them heal to avoid some real problems later on down the road. Six weeks is nothing in the long run -- or six weeks could mean the rest of your life. Your choice, bro.
