Spring Break is soon

Yooooo what up.

Ok so spring break = about 2 months away and I am not in the shape I'd like to be in.. So I have all my old weightlifting stuff still which I am using, but I want to try to atleast have a flat stomach if not decent abs. Not heavy at all, I do have "enough" fat on my stomach though. So what would be some excersises recommended?

I planned on buying a decline bench and a medicine ball and throwing it up and catching it with a partner, but right now all I can really do it leg raises on my lat tower, I can also do weighted crunches with the decline bench. (My bench declines but it makes your back hurt).

Also with my diet as of right now I'm just cutting out junk (as much as possible) and trying to stay active. Anyone have suggestions other than running for a good way to burn fat? I plan to run but I really dont like it so if theres anything else that would be great.

Sorry for the messy-ness of this post I just wanted to get it all out at once

Also - Welcome back to the boards - From myself.

2 weeks? Not a WHOLE lot you can do. Cut calories and move more. Try 2-3 HIIT cardio sessions performed on off days in combination with a fullbody workout to be done 3 times weekly with at least 48 hours rest between each workout. I've found that the quickest mass builders/fat burning resistance training sessions are total body workouts performed 2-3 times weekly.
A good fully body can be found at T-nation
A great workout I've seen results on is "Total Body Training" developed by strength and conditioning coach Chad Waterbury. While T-nation does have a lot of useless crap on its boards, this is a pretty solid workout.

You could also try HST. While I personally do not like training so far from my maximums and performing the same lifts every workout, it did provide results in the short amount of time I was on it.

2 months but still.

Focusing on your big muscle groups will help you burn more fat. Go and get a membership to a real gym if you want real results. Most home gyms are good for maintance but there are so many things you can not do and I have a hard time staying motivated at home.

Don't worry to much about ab excersizes, from an aethestics point body fat is much more important than strong abs and strong abs cover by fat still look fat.

It's doable. Stay on a lifting/cardio schedule and get strict with your diet. Here's a cutting diet that spans 56 days.

Lots can be done in two months, believe me! I've gone from 200 lbs. down to 178 lbs ripped in 8 weeks flat. Get strict with your diet, gradually taper your complex carbs, keep training heavy with basic compound movements, and implement cardio (high intensity) 3-5 sessions per week. Make sure you are getting enough protein for your body weight, activity level, and at the right critical times (breakfast,pre/post workout, and with every other meal of the day), and be sure to get quality rest. Do all this day-in and day-out religiously while making sure to lose 1-2 pounds per week, no more.... and you can have an insanely fatless body in 8 weeks. And if not insane, then a DAMN GOOD ONE to say the least! It can be done!

Well damn, please excuse my ignorance. I somehow got the impression that you had only two weeks (but that would not even put us into March, which means it would be impossible for you to have your Spring Break). 2 months is an entirely different story. You can do plenty in 2 months.
