Strained again

Strained my neck again and the doc said that i can only do exercises that dont hurt it, Skull Crushers, Pushdowns, Curls (Any type), or any other triceps do not hurt it, but bench, squats and deadlifts do...

So in place of my legs ill do running and bike riding until i can get bakc on them..

But my question is will my arms still grow? even though im working them out? he said i can get back into all the deadlift stuff in about 1 month and a half.. But will my arms continue to grow?

If you're able to increase the weight week to week, there's no reason why they wouldn't continue to grow.

Xtt, you are trying to say that the "real lifts" strain your neck and skull crushers don't?

That's really weird. Find a way to work your legs.

yeah skull crushers def do not, for some reason i do not kno why. But deadlifts and squats hurt, because the bar is on my taps/neck (where its strained) and deadlifts take alot out of the traps.

Im running and doing bike riding in High gears

Just because of the positioning and the use of the traps and neck muscles to stabilize yourself. If it don't hurt, go for it. But really, you do need to find some way to train those legs. Even leg extensions and leg curls are better than nothing.

Don't mean to hiack or go off topic. But I use g-mail to get my responses to threads here. It targets advertisements in the right side of the e-mail window based on the content of what I'm looking at.

The ad for this thread is, "are kegels enough?" I still haven't figured that one out.

Ah well, never mind some things are beyond my comprehension. But still, I know that you've got to find a way to get some real training for those legs. Even if it's machines. Keep looking till you can find leg work that doesn't hurt you.

I'd like to follow this thread to see how his "pinch" works out. (Ergo my comment about isolation work). The question you'll have to ask is this: I always play chess with everything in life,- how does what I do, or what I don't do or must eliminate me, affect me further down the line.

Play it out.

How are you going to sleep without straining your neck or it cramping? You wearing a cast around your neck?
