Strong as bull or ripped to shreds
ok assuming you cant have both cause only pro bodybuilders get both and it is unrealistic for any of us to be like them, would you rather be:
a. really strong and have a nice body, but maybe some fat storage here and there, but big all over, big squatting number, big bench numbers, etc
or
b. really ripped, abs showing, excellent muscle definition, but really not be as strong as you look

ok i am not talking fat slob fat, but you know a little extra maybe in the midsection as opposed to having a six pack and having veins in your biceps and striations in your chest and shoulders....

Sorry, I can't vote here. I DO want it all. I'm just not getting it - but still working hard at it. Slowly bulking to minimize fat storage, cutting a bit, repeating as needed (needed forever I guess).
Since I can't vote for both, I guess I'll vote for a little fat storage. Trying to stay shredded all the time is not really possible for me, but I will always start cutting when the abs start disappearing.

sounds silly, but I am all about being intimidating. I mean, I am anything but a fighter, but I'd like to think the more intimidating I look, the less chance of anyone wanting to mess with me, so the less chance I will have to be in a fight, and I don't think a six pack is very scary to someone that wants to beat your ass

depends which hand you're holding it in and if they're king cans or regular.

Ranger i think a BF range of 18-20 percent is about what you're talking about when you say "some fat just not chunky". I'd love to maintain around 20% bf lol. Guys like me will have one hell of a time trying to stay at 10%.

It's hard to say....I've been on both extremes, and I have to say that I like both situations. It's cool being big, and a bit smooth..and having your clothes all filled out to the max. And you feel stronger on the whole when you have been taking in more calories, are able to lift more weight, etc...everything is at it's max and your body reflects it.
On the other hand, being super ripped is just awesome, cuz everytime you see yourself in the mirror or whatever, you're just like DAMN, that looks cool! Every muscle is popping out at you, veins and striations are everywhere, and you see things you never even thought you had...and so does everyone else. And when you're super ripped, you can actually look bigger than you are when you're big and smooth.
That's a hard one to choose between, but that is what I like about being a competitive bodybuilder, I get to experience both extremes....well, you don't need to be competitive to do experience the two, but it does help push you to the extremes, especially when it comes to dieting down and getting ripped.

Just don't say to yourself what a friend said to me when I first got the 6 pack for the first time. He patted his big belly and said, "a real man carries a keg".
Get big, get strong, just keep the fat gains under control. :

I can't vote because my choice was not an option.
I want ripped, strong but not big (huge) more medium sized.
