not familiar with that brand... but personally i really enjoy ellipticals. granted i do all my cardo basically in playing basketball, but if i were to choose a machine to do it on, it'd be an elliptical. but for $400 i kind of question the quality of that brand... i know at the YMCA we use LifeFitness machines, which aren't the top of the line stuff (at least i dont assume so, because we're the YMCA), and they're still over $2000 a pop.
just remember though. you don't have to have a piece of equipment to do cardio. if that's what you want to do then by all means, just wanted to make sure you know you have other options, because $400 is a bit of money.

what do you think i should do? It would me nice to do my cardio privitely but i wouldnt mind buying a quality bench press. I really get sick and tired of jogging because of many reasons. I've tried to stick with a jogging cardio routine but I can never stay with it. I live far away from the gym and I would love to use the equipment there but the gas price in my area has sky rocketed! So im going to invest in a cardio machine. I already have a collection of weight lifting equipment so I think im gonna go stick with a cardio machine. I have a manual treadmill but it rreally bothers me when the belt slides to one side and ect. Im thinking about a bike because if you think about it, it might last longer. The eliptical in the pic looks a little weak. What do you guys think>?

you can find a decent stationary bike pretty cheap. it won't have that digital console with all the heart rate monitors, speed, calories burned, etc. etc. but those things arent exactly necessary anyway. i'd stay away from any kind of elliptical that's that cheap.

Go to sportchek, buy some good running shoes, and start jogging.

I would take the cash and buy a decent bicycle. You can mount it on a trainer (MagTurbo or similar) to ride indoors if necessary (rain/snow). That way you get the best of both worlds.
