supersets


What do you think of supersetting? I've tried it out for the past month and think its great.

supersets are the cure for cancer.jk. i love them. i do pretty much the push pull method. it works great for me. keeps me constantly moving weight without burning a single muscle out so you keep a high heartrate. i have a routine on the beginners forum you can check out to see how i do it.

I dont like them either. I like slow, powerful, high volume training with plenty of rest between sets.

Nope, I never super set anymore...just a waste of time and energy. Stick to the basics and improve on them.

I like supersets, I did them all the time last year, but I think it depends on what your aiming for. If you are looking to get stronger theyre not always the best way to go because they burn you out and you dont have as much energy to lift as much as you possibly can. If you are looking to tone and or cut they are good because it is like getting cardio for free. Supersets can also be helpful if you dont have much time to be in the gym and wantto lift and do cardio at the same time.
