target fat burn


can you burn fat on a specific part of your body, for example does bench press burn fat on chest and triceps or sit-ups burn stomach fat etc. ?????????????????

Sorry there is no such thing as target or spot reducing.

Work the WHOLE body for fat loss and eventually you will reach your goals (that is if your diet is in check).

lady C is 100% accurate, in spite of the billions of dollars being spent on advertising this cream, that lotion, etc that "targets" the mythical "cellulite" (cellulite is fat, plain and simple, nothing unusual about it). there are only two ways to lose fat in a specific region: liposuction and mesotherapy, both surgical procedures with a fair degree of risk and quite expensive.

heh, this reminds me of a recent infomercial I saw, something called the sauna belt I think, you put this belt on and it heats up and makes you sweat around your abs, and youre supposed to lose weight there. it was such a joke, I hope nobody bought one. it would be pretty funny lookin if you could lose weight in only one area.

there are so many misconceptions about this, so many people will do abs instead of cardio to try bring out the abs, where priority should be placed on cardio to lose the bodyfat
