Tear/Stretch Mark

Ok, I have a BIG (what looks like a stretch mark) tear on the skin in my arm pit near the outside.. not visible unless I lift my arm up, It gets really dark purple if I put my arm parallel with my body and rotated up (bicep flexing position).. but If I extend it above my head it goes away for the most part. Doctor said it wasn't a stretch mark and called it something else. But its really bothering me that because I'm working out I am creating a very unattractive mark under my arm. Has anyone else had an experience with something like this? Because I dont want it to keep getting bigger but I also dont want to stop training, and I have NO idea what exercise could be causing it.. because I've been training for 2 years + now and it just within the past 3 months came about... Any help is appreciatted

They fade over time. Best thing to do is get vitamin e lotion applied to the area and make sure you're getting vitamins.

The excercise isn't really the cause, its more that you are growing quickly. I got a bunch of these when I hit my growth spurt (sp?) around 11 years old...really sucked, I thought it was skin cancer at first They've all faded though, the worst of them are just slightly scarred tissue, very unnoticeable.
