The Man with Exploding Arms

Anybody see this on TLC? Unfortunately, I only caught the last 15 minutes of it. I don't really have any details except it was interesting/freaky. Anyone see this documentary or know anything about it?

I didn't see the doc, but its about Greg Valentino, an abomination in the BB world. Don't be fooled by the giant, freakish arms, they are not totall a result of hard or even steroids. He site injects synthol to give the appearance of titanic muscles. Kind of a symbol of everything that is wrong with BB in the present day.

yup i watched about the last 30 minutes of it, and then i watched "supersize she" right after which was about women bodybuilders.

The doc about exploding arms was messes up, you see te part where the guy is poking himself with the needle to get blood out ?? sick as hell... Overhall was a good story as to why you should not use steroids...

From what I saw, he did everything. And he was up front about all of it. It's not like he tried to justify anything. He made it clear how messed up he was, how his life was ruined. They used some footage of him draining fluid from his arms to try to discourage one young body builder in particular (probably others) from steroid use.

They also had an older guy who had cancer, a neart attack, and a stroke, all of which he attributed to steroids. I think it was a pretty good documentary -- well, the 15 minutes that I saw.

....nothing.

The scary thing is that Valentino claims to never have used synthol......says the only thing he uses in his arms is injectable B12.

Sadly, he actually used to have a decent physiqe before he started injecting that crap into his arms.

Here's some more lovely pics of some obvious synthol dumbasses........

.....apparently this looks good? wtf?!

So let me get this straight. They stick a needle in their arm and go to a gas station to use the air hose. Those pictures look so screwed up. Do they even gain any strength from this? If not, whats the use. How retarded can some people be.

It's some kind of oil that lingers around in the muscle, no gain in strength, no hypertrophy, just a bigger (deformed) looking muscle. Flex Wheeler has admitted to using this stuff in his calves.

For the guy asking about what this has to do with steroids... it's the next step in pro bodybuilding, steroids are just the precursor. They used to say that steroids/supplements only make up the last 5% of a bodybuilder's physique, that's what they'll say about this stuff one day. People will defend it with all the common excuses they use now about steroids.

"Greg Valentino made an individual decision."

Steroids as a precursor, scary. I hope you're wrong, but who knows. At least for now this extreme usage is considered an embarrassment to most in the BB world. Its hard to defend that type of abuse though. At least with steroids you still have to work hard (not condoning steroid use), this stuff is just pure nastiness.
