Thinking?

How much do you “think” about fitness in your daily thoughts? Do you think about other things more? Where does it stand in terms of the amount of time you think about it during the day compared with other thoughts? 1st? 2nd? 3rd?

Hard to rate things like that. Since every single meal I prepare/eat relates to my "fitness" lifestyle and I eat every 2 hours most days there's a lot of thought spent on it, that's for sure. Not to mention 7-9 workouts per week. I'd say that work, sex, and music rival "fitness" though.

yeah definitely hard to rate things like that, but like ebon00 stated the time spent preparing and eating meals most definitely relates to my fitness lifestyle. i too eat every 2 hours, workout about 2 hours per day 5x per week, spend about 3 hours preparing and shopping for food on the weekends, and about 30min-1hour every night of the week. top that off with all the time spent on here and other sites and or magazines reading about fitness and training.
i'd have to say i probably spend just as much time if not more thinking about fitness as i do thinking about work. when im at work i tend to think about my next workout, or spend some time reading up on working out, logging my food on fitday etc. lol wow when you lay it out like that, i spend quite a bit of my time thinking about my fitness.

Let me re-phrase the question;

When your mind is free to wonder (like while driving) how often are your thoughts health and fitness related?

I’m just trying to find out if others are as obsessed as I am, and of course if the obsession has any meaning behind it.

From the 8th Habit: 2004 By Stephen R Covey

Discover your voice ( page 40)

“The power to discover our voice lies in the potential that was bequeathed at birth. Latent and undeveloped, the seeds of greatness were planted. We were give magnificent “birth gifts”-talents, capacities, privileges, intelligences, opportunities-that would remain largely unopened except through our own decision and effort. Because of these gifts, the potential within and individual is tremendous, even infinite. We really have no idea what a person is capable of. A baby maybe the most depended creation in the universe, and yet within a few short years, it becomes the most powerful. The more we use and magnify our present talents, the more talents we are given and the greater our capacity becomes”

I've made the decsion to discover my voice. INow comes the effort. Idle thoughts may be a clue. My thoughts are mostly fitness related, and have been since I was pretty young

You?
