Training Legs and Cardio

With my current workout routine, I lift 1 out of every 3 days, and do cardio 1 out of every 3 days. For the past week, I've done cardio 2 out of every 3 days, so there's not a single day (except for day 7) where I'm not working out my legs (either in the form of resistence training, HIIT, or long-distance running). So far, I've managed to do fine with my legs when I lift, but I've been wondering if there's any consensus about cardio's effects on training the lower body. Does performing cardio inhibit leg recovery significantly. The cardio I do is often a form of Guerilla cardio (8 sets of 20 second sprints), but once in a while I'll throw in a more endurance type hour-long run which amounts to at least 6 miles (I don't know how long exactly).
