unwanted gains
well, my stomach continues to get bigger for some odd reason, im intaking 3000 calories a day, i do two-three hours of intense aerobic activity a week, and im resistance training to bulk up. but my stomach continues to gain more fat. what could be causing this? by the way im keeping my aerobic activity low because im an ectomorph.

Umm yeah, fat gains come with bulking. Just try to control them but if you are totally afraid of getting a bulk belly, the mass you seek will never come.

Do vacuums? more cable crunches? Get a bigger chest? Improved posture? If the shoulders are back, then the chest sticks out more.

alright, but my main question is, can i reduce the stomach fat without resorting to a weight loss diet, can i trim the fat while still bulking or while i bulk, would the fat eventually lessen?

That's possible for a very few people but it's damn hard. So hard that in most cases, it's considered to be impossible. The best most can hope for is to do bulking and cutting training and eating cycles. When you do a bulk, just don't eat to such an excess that fat gains are more than you can live with. When you do a cut, spread it over long enough and do it slow enough so that you don't lose muscle.
Some have found that keeping up cardio while on a bulker is effective for keeping fat gains minimal. The NPC competitors who I know always do cardio for 30-45 minutes first thing in the morning before breakfast for direct fat burning. However be warned that although for some this is effective, for many it equals catabolism. Diet and training have to be specifically geared towards this to allow it to work.

the whole ectomorph thing went to my head, i ate like a monster without doing much aerobic activity and unfortunately when i decided to bulk my entire weightl iftning was out of porportion and i only go to worko ut once maybe twice if lucky. a week. now ive got this ridiculous stomach that sticks out, its not saggy, or even fatty, my obliques even show. faintly, but it sticks out and its annoying how the only fat gain i got was an outward stomach, would things like green tea slim it down? i cant afford to go on a cutting diet rite now, i dont have any protein shakes to compensate for eating less, i want to continue bulking while taking care of this stomach problem.

You are just plain eating too many calories. Especially, for only working out 2x per week. Cut back calories by 300.

yes, ive already taken that measure. to put it simple, is there anyway to fix this problem without resorting to cutting? i just finding it very annoying, seeing how fat anywhere else on my body is unnoticeable, its like it went straight to my stomach. its like a beer belly, could it possibly be caused by bad carbs or sugars? in kinda screwed up this whole bulking thing, ive noticed changes in muscles, but unfortunately the biggest change is my stomach.

That's called a bulk belly. Drop 300 cals a day, keep working hard, add some cardio if you need to. And maybe consider 3 workouts a week instead of 2.

The belly is caused by taking in more calories than you burn. You need to reduce your net calories, either by eating few calories, or by exercising longer or more often.

How big are you?
How old are you?
What is your eating habits like?
Do you only do Arobic workouts 2 times a week or do you only workout two times a week?

im 15, 5-8, 175lb i started out at 130 this year, i think ive gained about 10lb of solid fat, solely on my stomach, my arms and such are still pretty toned, same with my chest, its just i have an outwards belly now, and i do aerobic activties twice a week either two karate classes, or two PE classes. each lasting an hour. my eating habits, used to be terrible, i was 110 at 5-6 when i started out? now i think i let this whole ectomorph deal get ahead of me, i guess i have a fear of being skinny again so i consumed more then i needed, i never had any intentions of getting fat, but i just kept reading how its very difficult for an ecto to bulk, as well, the way i calculated things, i was only getting 3000 calories in a day, im starting to cut back on the side foods that help me to get to 3000, like nutri bars or yogurt etc.

do you take any supplementation? that might affect it. how much are you eating each meal and what exactly are you eating.
a lot of times when i eat fast food my gut blows up and it makes it look like i have a gh gut. i think it looks cool cause i can see my abs better but it definately isn't good.

no supplementation and my MEALS are actually quite healthy besides the occasional fast food, i eat lean chicken and rice, taco's (home made, lean ground beef), spaghetti, fettucini, stuff like that, but that stuff dont have that much calories unless i eat in large amounths, which i hear is bad for metabolism, so i tried to fit in cals inbetween with bars and such.
